Colorful blooming flowers in the Arevinti Garden.

Welcome to Arevinti Garden
& Garden Café

Set amidst the stunning scenery of the West Pennine Moors, our house and gardens occupy the historic site of the former Stubbins Congregational Church. The family who built the church also played an important part in the development of St Anne's-on-Sea, near Blackpool, and the park at Grange-over-Sands, making this a place rich in local history and heritage.

Lovingly created over the past 25 years, the gardens have been thoughtfully designed to provide interest and beauty throughout the seasons. Visitors can explore a collection of distinctive garden spaces, including two Oriental gardens, an Italian-inspired garden room, and the former churchyard, now transformed with a wildlife pond, colourful herbaceous borders, a rose archway and an attractive gravel garden.

We welcome pre-booked groups of between 6 and 22 guests. During your visit, you can enjoy a delicious light lunch and a selection of homemade cakes, served either in the garden room or, on warmer days, in one of our peaceful outdoor seating areas overlooking the gardens.

To make your visit even more memorable, Lavinia is delighted to give an engaging talk on the fascinating local history of the area, sharing stories about Stubbins Congregational Church, its founders, and the heritage that has shaped this special place. You can also choose to include a visit to the allotment. Please ask for further details when making your booking.

We look forward to welcoming you for a relaxing and enjoyable visit.
